Dr. Mara was the invited speaker by EISKIN during the Philippine Dermatological Society Central Luzon Product Presentation. In many of her lectures, Dr. Mara talks about skin anatomy and biochemistry, disease pathophysiology and the science of skincare products. In this lecture, she spoke about the role of epidermal lipids, particularly essential fatty acids in the skin barrier, and how this relates to skin care.
